The season that just won’t die

May 19th, 2008 by Brad

Well here we go. 3 hours from now we’ll be watching our 100th Stars game of the season. Wow. That’s a lot of hockey.

I’ll continue my trend of picking against the Stars and say the Wings will remember “Oh yeah, we are the best hockey team in the league” and score 2 goals in the first period on the way to 4-1 win.

That being said…after saying goodbye to this thing last Thursday, I am very much re-engaged. It would be really nice to find a way tonight. Find a way boys.

I wondered if Detroit had lost 3 games in a row all year long…the answer is yes. 4 times they had losing streaks of 3 games or more. So let’s make it 5.

Either way “you done good,” Dallas. We are proud of you. You are the annoying fly that just won’t go away. Try not to get swatted too hard tonight.

Your prophecy is unappreciated. After 1 period, Detroit 3-0 over Dallas
